Life is a warNot a battle
Life is a commitment
Not a fling
Life doesn’t give up the first time it falls
It’s already prepared for the next trip
Life doesn’t fall apart, like so many believe
It simply removes the problems
Life isn’t prewritten, engraved into stone
It’s the paper and you are the pen
Life doesn’t decide whether it lives on past you
Your decisions are the footprints left in the sandLife limits itself to nothing
You keep life from living
You live not when your heart is still beating
But those moments when it chooses to stop
You live not when you are breathing
But moments you must catch your breath
Life is not only in beauty
It’s even more alive in pain
Life isn’t getting everything you wantBut learning to live with what you have
Life isn’t always getting whom you love
Sometimes it’s letting them go
Life is creating happiness through tears
Where only one mold fits you
Life is learning that at times you will fail
But at others you will also succeed
Life isn’t times when you’re talking
You live when you need not say a word
Life is being in your arms
And knowing they’re losing their grip
Life is the moments when life doesn’t matter
When nothing could keep us apart
Life is knowing it might not work
But attempting it anyway
Life is a war
Not a battle
